According to Harper’s BAZAAR, “winter is the time to experiment with your hair.

Between holiday parties, the new year, and the blissful lack of humidity, this is the moment to embrace change.” Oh, and a‘90s resurgence is in full swing (in a good way). From visible roots (yay!) to a deep side part, to Meghan Markle’s ballerina bun, their 2020 winter hair trends will have you inspired to do something new—and gorgeous.

InStyle agreed that this winter’s hair trends are a major throwback.

“The ’90s and early ’00s are alive and well based on the styles we’re seeing all over Instagram and the red carpet. Take Bella Hadid’s messy bun with tiny tendrils and Keke Palmer’s flippy lob she accessorized with a bobby pin, for example. Both looks are resurrected from your youth, but with a few tweaks, they suddenly feel fresh again.”

Tiny tendrils and the blunt boom are back. Feeling shy? A bedazzled headband made #6 in their top 10.

Here at home, FLARE predicted ’10 Hair Colour Trends That Are Going to Dominate 2020,’ from Serena Williams’ Curly Hair Highlights to mushroom brown, “a neutral matte light brunette tone that looks earthy and natural. The key to nailing this shade is keeping the tone on the cool, ashy side rather than going for more typical warm honey hues. This look will be great for those brunettes who like to keep their look beachy and effortless.”
