I had the most decadent four hours I have had in a long time. Even before starting the treatments the fact that I didn't have to fight traffic (located in Scarborough) or search and pay for parking (they are in a strip-mall building) put me in a more relaxed state. The decor is East Indian very lovely for setting a luxuriant mood. Once the treatments began I was in heaven. The manicure and pedicure were conducted on a massage charge which immediately put me into the spa mood. The service was impeccable, I've been to fancier spas where the service wasn't half as friendly as the lovely ladies that run and work at Vimi. In the massage and facial room they accommodated me by making it warmer with space heater and heated blankets, I've been to other places which gave me a song and dance about one temperature for the whole place where I have had to endure being cold during treatments -- NOT here. The products they used were lovely in terms of both texture and aroma, they even asked me if I had any scent preferences or things I didn't like. The cucumber mask used real cucumbers and not just a scented cream. I added a sea-salt exfoliation and paraffin treatment to my pedicure which was not part of the package I booked and they were not only able to accommodate the extra time required for these treatments but gave them both to me at a reduced rate. When I came out of the treatment they surprised me with a light snack, I was allergic to ingredients in the sandwich so they went and found me something else without me even having to ask. The layout of the treatment areas could be streamlined or sound proofed a bit better, it would be nice to hear the music better in each room rather then talking from the hall and paint was peeling in some places but this did not deter for me from the overall relaxing experience (I didn't want to leave the facial/massage room). The only other change is it would have been nice to have been offered tea during the pedicure, the treatment coupled with the massage chair and a tea would have just been the cherry on the cake of relaxation. For those looking for service and pampering over decor and pompous atmosphere this is the place.
