I live in the Tandem towers close to Trinity Spa, so I decided to have a haircut here due to its close proximity. Dion is very friendly, down to earth and great to chat with, her stylist abilities are outstanding. I've since been visiting for a haircut every two weeks for the past 8 months. The girls at the front are very warm and friendly, I have been for other services such as a back wax and the service has been very professional and relaxed. The spa calls me to remind me of appointments and are very easy to reach when I've needed to reschedule. Highly recommend!

I was very disappointed in Trinity Salon & Spa. The first time I walked in was about a few months ago; no one had greeted me and when she finally came out, she made me feel like I was disturbing her. Prior to coming in, I had phoned twice and there was no answer and when I left a message no one phoned me back. I really wanted to check out the place considering it was rated number 1 salon/spa in Burnaby so I booked an appointment for a massage and a haircut but I was honestly shocked. Now I wonder how they even got that rating. The receptionist was rude, unprofessional, did not care about customer service and was more interested in her personal conversations with other stylists or the other estheticians. Although my masseuse was a sweetheart, I would never ever recommend this place nor step another foot in there and I have told other friends/relatives of mine that go there and they too have noticed the same as I. The owner and manager are no better. I could hear their conversations about revenue/marketing and talking negatively about previous clients. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! All I could hear throughout my service was hair dryers and loud voices from the people just outside the massage room. Plus the tension in the salon is very present. I have also heard many bad things about the reputation of this salon and spa and I definitely don't think I will be going back.

I went to Trinity Spa for Universal Body Wrap twice. The first visit was ok. Although I didn't get greeted at the counter for the first FIVE minutes, the rest of the treatment was great and I was happy. I just had my 2nd visit yesterday and the experience was not close to good. I had my wrap in one treatment room, and I had to dress like a mummy and wait in the PEDI area, and got unwrapped in another room. JUST BECAUSE THEY HAD ANOTHER PERSON COMING IN FOR THE SAME TREATMENT. If it's how they handle the treatment, fine, but I wasn't treated like that for my first wrap. I had the whole room for almost 3 hrs and I could even take a nap. Why were I treated like that this time? And for the person who did the wrap after me, I didn't see her come out like a mummy. I think she got the whole room for her to lay down and relax. Maybe she's their VIP? I don't know. But I paid the same money, and did not be treated fairly. I like the result of the treatment. But the SPA EXPERIENCE? NO!

For the price that you pay, I would not recommend the spa. While the massage I received was nice, you could hear people's conversations and laughter, which does not make for a relaxing experience. The staff was nice but seemed quite young and a bit unprofessional (when my treatment was over and I changed and was about to walk out of the room, another staff person was right at the door and laughed saying "oh I didn't even know you were in there, I was about to walk in!" Not a horrible place but again, for the price that you pay I would go to a more high end salon.
