The experience I had at Select Spa was good, I was greeted by their staff in a warm, friendly manner. I had to wait a couple of minutes just because I was their first appointment, but the experience was worth the wait. I had an excellent aroma therapy massage a facial, manicure with parrafin, eyebrow shaping and a haircut. The massage therpist was awesome. The staff was friendly, the equipment and facilities were new and I felt very welcome. They even offered cookies & tea. I "may" go back in the future. The only down side i found was that they specifically asked for me to rate them a 9 or higher. I thought that it wasnt nice, I should be able to rate them based on what "I think" not what "they suggest". Also, my nail polished bumped into the dryer & got completely ruined on one finger.... partially my fault, i didnt pay attention when I was switching hands under their 'one-hand' dryer. You would think that they would at least offer to repolish it. But instead, they just applied two strokes of polish over the dammage & considered it fixed... which it really wasnt. It just looked even worst....I could have insisted that they repolish it, but i didnt want to seem rude. I was travelling the next day... perhaps I should have.

She's great...very knowledgeable...the spa itself is clean, very relaxing, the staff is great...Over all I really enjoyed the experience and can't wait to go back...

The person that did my pedicure and manicure at Select Hair and Spa was very friendly, She however was not experienced( she told me that she had no schooling at all in doing these services) and I did not get the quality of service I was hoping for considering the cost. I was a little dissapointed as I was going away and I had waited to have these services done just before I went. Also the salon did not have much selection in regards to nail colour and therefore I had to choose something I wasn't thrilled with. Also when I got home I noticed that the nail polish used on my hands was lumpy which may have been because the the nail polish bottle was nearly empty. I ended up removing the colour as it looked awful. Considering the cost I was not happy with the services.

I would not go back to this spa! The service was bad and the treatment was the most uncomfortable and un-relaxing treatment I have endured. I made an appointment for noon for a seaweed mud cellulite treatment and rushed to get there a little early as their website suggested. I would not have bothered if I knew the "therapist" who was going to do my treatment was also a hairsytlist who had to finish a client's hair and tend to her daughter before I would be seen. After waiting 25 minutes for my treatment to begin, I was finally brought into the treatment room, which was cold only to be slathered with a scrub I could have bought at Shopper's and then I was wrapped in plastic. Once the plastic was removed, I had to wait in my swimsuit in the cold about 5 minutes for the water to warm up so that it could be sprayed back and forth on my back. I could have done this at home with my hand-held showerhead! There was no massage and lying on a cold table with goosebumps and chills is not what I call "luxurious" as their website states. While the therapist was polite and I did notice a little difference in the firmness in my thighs, I could have done this at home and not wasted 2 hours and $85!!

Miriam has the touch of the Gods. Had a deep tissue massage that was sorely needed. She got out six months of kinks, stress and tension. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is very much suburban spa. However given that's it's suburban Brampton, it's quite amazing.
