My bf & I enjoyed a couple's massage to celebrate our anniversary. When we arrived, we were friendly greeted, and welcomed with a cup of tea. This was our first time to a spa, and we loved every minute of it! The massages were excellent - Amanda and Izabel made us feel so relaxed - we didn't want it to end! Also, La Peau D'or was very accommodating - we arrived late due to traffic, we called to let them know and they were able to push back our appointment without hesitation - so we were still able to receive the full hour of our massages. Customer Service gets an A+. Although parking is a challenge, the spa was tranquil and cozy. I would definitely recommend it to anyone!!! Thank-you!

I utilized the way spa gift certificates for a well needed day of relaxation. The spa is very clean and as an RN I take note of the finer details of hygienic practices. The staff thoroughly disinfect and cleanse the pedicure area after each use and the overall spa is immaculate. The facial, sauna, shower and massage were heavenly. I drove in the morning traffic during a busy week day from Ajax to Mississauga and will not hesitate to do the trip again to experience this well deserved class A royal treatment. Thank you Way Spa for recommending La Peau D'or to would be customers.

Overall I felt more disappointed than happy with the experience, especially amidst all these other reviews...I expected a lot more. When I first entered the spa, the receptionist/hostess was very friendly and gave me tea. After filling the form I didn't get much time for tea as I felt a bit rushed to get in the facial room. The woman doing the facial for me was pleasant but very matter-of-fact. I didn't feel the warmth that I usually do from someone doing a facial. I completely understand that skin analysis is a practical matter but there is something to be said for a relaxed and calming presence. The extractions and exfoliation were fine, but I did not get as much facial massaging as I thought I would. Additionally, it was a bit chilly in the room and you could hear people walking back and forth and talking...not exactly the calming environment you would hope for in a spa. Essentially, I have had better for facials for the same or better prices and I was surprised. The ladies were generally nice, especially the receptionist but you pay and go for the services ultimately. ~Jas
