"Leelavadee" is the name of the famous flower which the scientific name is Frangipani, Plumeria, Temple Tree, Pagod Tree. Frangipani or Plumeria is believed to be brought in centuries ago by Charles Plummer. Then the name Plumeria was named after him. Frangipani the so-called Plumeria is from the French word "Frangipanier" which means fragrance.
