The Senior Stylist ensures the success of the business while operating the Salon under The Spa at Hilton Suites policies and standards. This position requires strong business skills and the ability to grow the business. The Senior Stylist is responsible for building a loyal clientele. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Performs yield management duties on a daily basis with regards to appointment bookings, and provider schedules. • Maintains the Salon’s equipment and supplies; and brings any concerns to the attention of the Spa Director/Spa Operations Manager. • Provides supportive leadership and effective coaching that facilitates superior customer service levels, continuous learning and skill development of the Salon department. • Reviews new Salon products; up sells Salon products and services. • Assists in completing Salon and Spa inventory. • Communicates and suggests programs and services appropriate for guest’s needs. • Understands all Salon services and treatments offered and is able to explain each in a clear precise manner. • Responsible for the continued safekeeping and maintenance of Client files accessed by the Salon department; and brings any concerns to the attention of Management regarding these files. • Provides a wide range of hair care services such shampooing, cutting, coloring and styling. • Assists in creative marking ideas to plan for promotions. • Assists Spa Operations Manager in preparing Purchase Orders. • Provides leadership and inspiration to all Salon staff. • Maintains and monitors work schedules for efficient and effective maximization of the staff schedules. • Monitor staff performance and ensure that service and technical standards are being adhered to consistently.
