I have been fortunate to experience a variety of massage treatments around the world, and without hesitation I would have to say Bur Oak is simply the best! The massage treatments here are relaxing however still therapeutic and they always provide helpful advice to all their clients.

I enjoyed my expereince very much. The spa is very clean, professional and well priced. The staff encouraged me to sit back and relax, they took very good care of me by offering magazines and initiating pleasant conversation. My appointment was truly relaxing. Thanks!

I received a massage this past Friday, as an early mother's day gift from my husband. The massage itself was excellent until it came time for payment. I brought out my WaySpa gift certificates as form of payment and was then told that if I were to use them, I would not receive a RMT receipt for the massage. The excuse being that it was their "policy". I have been to numerous spas who gladly accept GC's as form of payment and have still received an RMT receipt. My eligibility to get an RMT receipt should not be determined by my method of payment. The employee said they would not issue a receipt because I am not paying for the massage "myself". I guess that means if my husband has bought this for me, it's not considered "my" money? My husband made the appt for me because it was a place close to where we live and it mentioned nothing about this on their website under "policies". To be fair, Bur Oak Massage only indicates this on the WaySpa.com website - which did not help my husband when he made the appt since he only went directly to their website. I will definately not be going back to this spa for this very reason of bad customer service, and frankly what seems to be simply unethical business practice when it comes to RMT. I will glady use my WaySpa gift certificates elsewhere from now on -- where they are actually welcomed.
