The Kuramathi Cottage and Spa resort is made up of lagoon side bungalows surrounded by lush foliage and situated 500 metres from a shopping village on a one kilometre long tropical island. The hotel features 83 air conditioned guestrooms with tropical style decor, floor to ceiling windows, tiled floors and light wood furnishings. All guestrooms include minibars, open air showers with small gardens, safes and direct dial telephones. Guests can relax on the hotel's private beach or pamper themselves at the spa centre with its sauna, steam room, jetted tub, fitness room, and full range of health and beauty treatments. There is also a pool and a water sports centre. A range of international dishes is on offer at the informal main restaurant, and light meals and snacks are served at the Palm Court restaurant. Light Asian meals are available at the Sea View Coffee Shop and Thai cuisine is served at the Siam Garden restaurant. After a meal guests can sip a drink by the sea at the Dhoni Bar. Active guests will find a range of activities on offer including scuba diving, snorkelling, sailing and windsurfing. There is also a tennis court and running track. Multilingual staff at the 24 hour front desk can exchange currency and the resort has a shop. Resdu Shopping Village is 500 metres away and Kandholhudhu Island is 30 kilometres from the hotel. Male International Airport is 56 kilometres away with an approximate journey time of 90 minutes. Mandatory transfers. As the hotel is located on a different island to the airport, guests must organise a transfer from Male International Airport to the property. To do this, you will need to contact the property directly with your flight details at least 48 hours before travel.
