Hotel de Rome, a conversion of an existing building, is located on Bebelplatz, in the Mitte district of Berlin area, near the Brandenburg Gate and opposite the Humboldt University. Much of the historical and architectural substance of the building remains and is integrated into the Hotel de Rome. The rooms leading to the hall are former cashier chambers of the bank. The imposing, old vault of the bank has been transformed into a swimming pool and the magnificent offices of the ex-members of the board of Dresdner Bank were converted into suites. Hotel de Rome in Berlin has 146 large rooms, including 72 standard rooms, 29 deluxe rooms, 32 junior suites, nine Executive Suites, three luxury suites and the presidential suite. Most rooms have high ceilings and classic proportions. The presidential suite has a long terrace overlooking the Bebelplatz. Most bathrooms have appointments in showers and marble mosaic in detail above double baths. The restaurant seats 120 and overlooks a large outdoor terrace which is used for dining al fresco during the summer months. Leaders at the house of Rome offers a traditional cuisine based on Mediterranean cuisine. The bar has a contemporary feel a long bar overlooking Bebelplatz colonnaded and an area with a mosaic floor of origin. The Opera Court is a large room with the glass ceiling. He is the focal point for coffee and tea afternoon. The Spa has a swimming pool, steam bath, sauna, relaxation area and a gym equipped. The original vault of the bank became a swimming pool. A range of therapies and health and beauty treatments are provided in the six treatment rooms
