Since 1899 the Park Hotel has occupied this property and perhaps you or someone you know has stayed here and enjoyed our hospitality. New ownership... New look... New name... Our new name is The Burleigh Island Lodge and we have restored it to its turn-of-the-century style and splendor. We're sure you'll like our new look and old fashioned friendliness.

The Lodge is situated on an eleven acre granite island where Lovesick and Stoney Lake meet, but is easily accessible by car, bus or boat. It's a natural rugged setting in the heart of the Kawarthas, world famous for fishing and sunsets.

We're only two hours away from Toronto and less than twenty minutes to all the interesting attractions in the Kawarthas.
