We were a bit mislead by the description of the package. We thought that we would each receive a 30 minute massage and not 30 minutes combined. We didn't know that we had to bring a bathsuit (the spa was able to provide us with paper ones) for the hydrotherapy. We just wished we were more informed and therefore would not have had high expectations.

The staff was great even if the facility itself was a little small. The massage room is a little cluttered i.e whirlpool bath, massage table and shower in one small room. The massage was killer..i.e. it hurt which I think is a good thing. The express facial was great, very relaxing and my skin felt great after it. The manicure was excellent and I felt she really took care to make sure I was happy with it. Overall I thinkit is a good spot to go and hang around Queens Quay and finish up with a little treatment for yourself.

As ususal at Azua, the services did not disappoint. The Deep Tissue Massage was exactly what I expected. The Massage Therapist was excellent and really knew how to locate and work out those knots. My only disappointment was that I only booked an hour!

My initial impression was not a positive one as I came in 15 mins. as requested and there was no receptionist to greet me. In fact, it was only after 25 mins of sitting on the couch that the RMT therapist came out from his earlier appointment and greeted me! The only other person was 1 girl who was doing the mani/pedi and who told me to wait! Thankfully, things took a total 180 from there. My massage was great--though painful but that's what I prefer anyways. My mani and pedi were both enjoyable and my tech. was very pleasant and professional. I've had many RMT massages and have to say this as one of the best. Pedi/mani's I haven't has as many but also a good experience. My rating would have been higher except for the obvious lack of service at the front.

The massage and facial were fantastic! I prefer strong pressure for massages and both the RMT and esthetician delivered. I'm sure if you like lighter pressure they would be able to adjust, but those out there who prefer otherwise, this is the place to go! The only things that need improvement are the manicure and pedicure. I went during the daytime on a weekdays and it was happened to be quite, but I can imagine on a busy weekend how things can get loud and not a relaxing. The place is small with limited facilities (ie: the change room can only fit one person at a time and there is only 1 washroom), but the the friendliness and the services more than made up for it. I would definitely return again!

Azua is a cozy little place by the lake. Although small, the spa is light filled with ceiling to floor windows all around - very refreshing. The facial and massage that I got were good. Both therapists were very friendly and skilled. I would definitely return to this spa. However, after the treatment, it does not seem like you are encouraged to stay and relax, and that parking alone is $12. In any case, this is a good spa for some practical treatments. :)
