Beautiful Asian inspired decor and ambience. The treatment room was large yet cozy at the same time - a big comfy couch and small details and decorative touches. Ditto the waiting area outside. Would have been nice to have a hanger for clothes - only a clothes hook on the back of he door - my only beef about the facilities. Had the Mohom Indigo Healing Massage, which was different than a Swedish - acupressure using elbows for the deeper fleshier parts and thumbs along the meridien(?), and a heated and steamed fragrant ball/poultice of lemongrass, black pepper, and eucalyptus. All very different and definitely nice, but not sure it was really worth the $149 (RMT) vs $90 for the regular RMT swedish. The therapist gave me a 75 min massage for the 60 minute charge since I was so tense I needed the extra work, I guess! So that was nice, but watch out for the mandatory 15% service charge automatically added to your bill - I'd read about it but it still came as a shock when I saw the total for my bill - way more than the average massage, but worth it to try at least once.

My masseuse, Allison, was wonderful. She has very 'compassionate' hands. Her movements were fluid and not too fast so that the whole experience was totally relaxing. I would highly recommend the Samunprai massage to anyone visiting Angel's Spa. The hotel needs to post more signage to get to the spa. I wondered around on the bottom floor before I finally found it.

This spa was OK, but not great. The changeroom was tiny, there was no where to even get a glass of water (I finally had to ask for one) and the service was just OK. The massage was dissapointing and the facial was pretty good but lacked any extra attention (neck or scalp massage). With so many great spa's in the city I will not be returning to this one!

I went to Angel's spa for a one hour RMT message, however, I wasn't offered a place to change or shower or steam room, which I usually get with other spas, even after the message, I had to go home with oil all over me without a shower. I thought shower was basic with all the spas. And reading the amentities section online, I wasn't offered anything like a steam room or tea, not sure what happend. I wasn't able to relax myself without a shower even this message was called relaxation message. The message was ok, but I sure had better with other ones downtown.

I was a little dissapointed with the entire experience. I didn't even get a robe to change into. The hot stone itself was dissapointing. The stones really weren't hot! I have had hot stone massages before and this just wasn't up to par. Then after the service, I didn't even get a towel to wipe off all the cold oil she used for the massage...and she used so much, ugh! Maybe it was just a bad day. The staff was friendly though.

This was my first time at a spa and I must say it was an enjoyable one. The only downfall was that I had to pay for parking (but it wasn't much, just some change really - less than $5)! The staff seemed friendly and they did make me feel welcome. The treatments were actually quite thorough and I was able to move on with my day without any glitches. Very nice overall experience, I just suggest you have enough change in your wallet for the meter!

I loved my Heavenly Facial at this Spa. I am definitely coming back and have recommended it to my sister & sister-in-laws. We are making a group booking in April. I noticed that they have a Mother/daughter spa package which could be great for the March break. For those of you who wants a mini-vacation in the Toronto Eastern region, this is your destination. The best part of the facial was the aroma, ambiance & soothing facial massage. I need to go back again !

The atmosphere of Angel Spa is quite relaxing. The staff members are very courteous, knowledgeable and professional. We thoroughly enjoyed our Lavender Manicures and RMT Massages. The appointments did not feel rushed in any way, as we were made to feel completely comfortable. The allotted times for each service were very accurate. Only opportunity for improvement would be for a more spacious locker/changing area to accomodate more than 1 person dressing at at time. Other than that, the services were wonderful, and we were certainly make a return trip.
