Welcome to Amanjiwo

Amanjiwo (which means "peaceful soul" and opened in 1997) is fashioned out of limestone and takes its inspiration from the surrounding culture of Central Java. The hotel is situated in a natural amphitheatre with limestone Menoreh Hills directly behind the increase, the Kedu plain in front and four volcanoes Sumbing, Sundoro, Merbabu and Mount Merapi - gracing the horizon.

Amanjiwo onto Borobudur, the largest Buddhist shrine in the world. The view stretches arrow-right Amanjiwo entry and stone corridor which is perfectly town, up the march to the soaring, bell-shaped rotunda, the dining room on the terrace, past rice fields on a farm line Borobudur. Several kampungs (villages) are within walking distance.

Amanjiwo is built by Yogya - local limestone. Thirty-six suites radiate outward from the main building of two growing deep. High walls of limestone reported by spider lilies morning glory and the rim. The walls blend into the stone walkways that connect the main building suites and the Pool Club. At the end of the station, in a lush calm, is the Dalem Jiwo - a large private suite with two separate rooms.

Amanjiwo suites have terrazzo floors, high ceilings, domed roofs and sliding glass doors that open onto a garden terrace with a view to Borobudur or surrounding farmland. Fifteen suites with private pools. All suites include a roof-kubuk (flag) with a daybed strolling outside and eat and two chairs. Interior of a central part, four pillars bed on a platform raised terrazzo, screens sungkai wood, coconut wood and rattan furniture, old batik pillows Yogyakarta classical style, traditional paintings on glass and a large hollow stone outdoor bathtub.
